In the series, we meet different people; friends and our customers. We ask them what home means to them. We reflect on how a home is built, what values it reflects and what kind of moments are experienced within its walls. Each story is different, but they are united by the same idea: home begins right where you are.

What does home mean to you?
Home is a place for us that is actually more than a home. It is above all a place to stop and rest, where we can experience inspiration again and again and it fuels both of our creativity.
What kind of moment or thing makes you feel at home?
The feeling of home comes when we can light a fire in the fireplace after a long work week and enjoy the warmth it brings. Slow mornings in our home are the best.

Do you have a routine, object or corner that makes your home special?
The living room is an important place in our home for both of us, and there is a large swivel armchair. Looking out from it, you can see the entire downstairs: the dining room, the living room, and part of the kitchen. In the embrace of the large chair, you can safely watch the world around you and the changing seasons outside.
How do your personality and values appear in your home?
We follow a lot of interior design and architecture publications and current affairs. Aalto's work is dear to both of us, but at the same time we admire the work of Danish designers and the Swedish Alvhem style. Ehea has complemented this and we fell in love with its production at first sight. All of these styles mix in a playful way in our home.

What is the best memory you have experienced in your home?
The best memories of home are of the family, friends and relatives we have spent time with. Both celebrations and everyday moments shared together are etched in our memories, but here they live on again and again, reminding us of the people we love.
What does the phrase "Home begins here" mean to you?
The phrase "home begins here" means a lot to us. We spent years searching for a home together, a place that would be meaningful to both of us. When we first stepped into the yard of this home, we both felt that our home begins here.
